French Warlords on RPPCs

Recommended Posts

Anyone who has knowledge about the uniforms and decorations, please feel free to comment.

Items are scanned at 1200 dpi, the size is reduced to 1600 pixels to fit as an attachment, but if needed I can provide bigger/clearer snapshots.

Thanks!

General de Maud'Huy - WW1 (or just before?) RPPC (real photo postcard). Is the neck award Bulgarian?

Mircea, here's the list of General's awards.

French decorations:

- Légion d'honneur: Chevalier (10.07.1899), Officier (10.07.1913), Commandeur (21.09.1914), Grand Officier (08.10.1915), Grand Croix (16.06.1920).

- Croix de Guerre 14-18 avec 1 palme.

- Médaille Interalliée de la Victoire.

- Médaille Commémorative de la Grande Guerre.

From what I see on the RPPC, he wears Bulgarian Order of Military Merit, Grand Officer Cross (neck order) and L'Ordre des Palmes académiques, Officier
