ionionescu Posted March 3, 2013 Report Share Posted March 3, 2013 I don't recognize the general, he wears the M1934 tunic and the M1939 cap, the photo is pre war because they all wear the M1930 epaulettes, from 1941 the epaulettes were sewn into the shoulder; I guess the photo is taken between 1939 and 1941. The inscription reads: Dormitorul Trupei Institutului Geografic Militar translation: Military Geographic Institute Troop Dormitory (they made maps). Quote Link to post Share on other sites
