Close-up.

By the way what unit did he serve in? In my opinion there are three options according to the cipher on his shoulder boards:

- Regiment 91 Infanterie "Regele Ferdinand I",

- Regiment 1 Vânători "Regele Ferdinand I",

- Batalionul 11 Vânători de Munte "Regele Ferdinand I".

I think it is Regimentul 1 Vânători "Regele Ferdinand I" because fetween the two ”F” we can see a I (1) , but to be shore I will ask on the Romanian forum.

I asked on the Romanian forum and Mr. Kepi answered that the problem with Romanian epaulet ciphers is pretty complicated, but he thinks the cipher is from: „Școala Specială de Cavalerie - Ferdinand I”* - from Târgoviște.

*Școala Specială de Cavalerie - Ferdinand I = Special Cavalry School - Ferdinand I
