Фотобумага Crown Copyright Reserved (Великобритания)

Recommended Posts

Hi sulejm34,

The 'A crown M' was the copyright mark of the British Air Ministry, which was the government department with responibility for the Royal Air Force (and thus equivalent to the Admiralty for the Royal Navy, and the War Office for the Army ).

All official photographs by Royal Air Force photographers, or other official photographers directly employed by the Air Ministry to record scenes related to aviation, would have been processed using this stamped paper, to show that the copyright of the image rested with the Air Ministry (needed for attribution if the photographs were sent to the press for publication), and also, presumably, to prevent unauthorised use of photographic paper for private use!

Да, Коля! Хотя нельзя исключать что некоторые запасы фотобумаги могли попасть в СССР по "союзническому обмену" и использовались непродолжительное время после окончания Второй мировой войны.
