Photo No.2. Another great big portrait

Interesting fragment: shoulder board with cypher.

I think the cypher is from: Regimentul 1 Artilerie „Regele Carol I” (1st Artillery Regiment "King Carol I"), Înalt Decret nr. 3281/ 15.X.1914.

Fragment with awards.

The neck award is: Ordinul „Coroana României”, în grad de Comandor.

I can't see it it has swords of not.

If it has no swords, it is Decret Regal nr. 1244,1245/ 10.V.1881.

If it has swords, it is Decret Regal nr. 851/ 9.IV.1918.

Судя по периоду(и мечам),понятно,что в года Мировой Войны.Но за что?

А это мне, увы, неизвестно. Может, Мирча подскажет?

Unfortunately I have no info on the subject, maybe it has something to do with the ”Battle of Marasesti” (http://ru.wikipedia....%88%D1%82%D0%B8), where both the General and Russian troops were involved.
