Награды брачующегося оберлойтнанта (если на погонах звездочка) или лойтнанта (если там шифровка):

Королевство Пруссия. Железный крест 2-го класса образца 1914 года на ленте для комбатантов.

Королевство Вюртемберг. Рыцарский крест 2-го класса с мечами Ордена Фридриха.

Знак за ранение 3-го класса ("черный").


Отмечу, что офицер одел на сюртук награды в нарушение правил: при сюртуке допускалось ношение лишь одного шейного ордена, либо черно-белой ленты боевой награды или медали за спасение жизни во второй пуговичной петлице, либо Железного креста 1-го класса. "Смягчающими обстоятельствами" стали конец войны и желание покрасоваться на свадебной церемонии. Мог бы, кстати, белые брюки по такому случаю надеть :smile:

I can´read the town. Something with U´?????? Maybe Unterensingen (U´ensingen)?

The U stands for "Unter". This was often written with an apostroph. "Unter" means "Low" or "Lower".

Or it is an "O", that stands for "Ober" (Upper). Maybe Oberboihingen (O´boihingen)?

The atelier is from Kirchheim unter Teck and Plochingen, both in Württemberg.

All towns are close to each other.

The date is 19. August 1918

Because he wears a wounded badge, he is in the lists. But that doesn´t mean, he was born in Unterboihingen...

You can enter Unterboihingen in "Ort". Then 110 results arrive...

You only have to click on each of them to check who was a subaltern... :smile:
