Значок "Ленинский зачет" был учрежден в 1972 году и вручался наиболее активным членам ВЛКСМ, успешно прошедшим т.н. Ленинский зачет и добившимся высоких показателей в труде, учебе, боевой службе, общественной деятельности или научно-техническом творчестве. Ленинским зачетом именовалось регулярное комсомольское мероприятие, которое проводилось с целью проверки политической грамотности и повышения политической активности членов ВЛКСМ. Дом отдыха Управления делами ЦК ВЛКСМ “Елочка” площадью 35 га располагался в сосновом бору в 60 км от Москвы, близ Звенигорода. В начале "лихих 90-х" был продан Инкомбанку.
