Carl Lichnock.

Hello!

But there I see Major a.D. That does´t make me think, he is the photographer...

Oberleutnant Lichnock served with the 4th Ingenieur-Inspektion, later he was in Fortress Diedenhofen. At the end of war he was Major a.D.

There was a Major v. Dücker in the Great General-Staff ("Grosser Generalstab"), later Oberst a.D.

No. It´s a stamp of the Major. Probably he used that card as a "Carte de Visite"

:LaieA_050:

Well...

I couldn´t find any special about him.

In 1914 he was Oberleutnant (Patent 18.8.10) in 4th Ingenieur-Inspektion in the fortress Diedenhofen. He wore KO4 (Order of the crown 4th class).

In that duty he served during the great war.

As Leutnant (Patent 18.8.01) he served with Pionier-Bataillon Nr.3. His first ranklist-entry was in that bataillon too.

So he was a simple bureau-officer... Probably he has never seen the front. A job like an official...
